I started my scientific Illustrator career at the natural History museum in Russell Street in Melbourne (it is now next to the Exhibition Building). It was an exciting time, but even more exciting when I was given the opportunity to study at the Smithsonian in Washington DC made possible by the Potter Foundation and the Myer Foundation.
Today I received a most fabulous gift, a four page article in their Journal on the work I did when I was there, and drawings since. Four whole pages in the Journal of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators...... I am beyond excited.
